This is the name of this horse, an Andalusian stallion I photographed running through the forest in the south of France. This horse had a beautiful spirit, and he would run just for the sheer joy of running and being alive. This is one of the few images where I added a textured background to make it look more painterly and ethereal. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn’t. But this time it worked very well.
